Maldon Library kindly organised the Young People's Art Competition for 2011, with prizes donated by Tesco.
Three Age Groups: Under-7s, 7-11 (primary school) and 11-16 (secondary school).
Theme: 'My Favourite Book'.
Entries can be handed in at Maldon Library between Monday
12th and Saturday 17th September and should be based on
the theme of "My Favourite Book" in the 2D medium of your
choice - such as paint, pencil, textiles or photography.
Library opening hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday &
Friday 9am-7pm and Saturday 9am-5pm.
Entries must be clearly labelled with the artist's name, age,
year group, address & telephone no. and the name of the
school.
The prize giving will be held on Thursday 22nd september at
4.30pm at Maldon Library in White Horse Lane and winning
entries will be displayed at the Library during Maldon Art Trail,
1st - 8th October.
